So I was going through some old computer manuals I have and was reading through some of them. One of the ones I read part of was "The Complete Idiot's guide to PCs" Bound to have many humorous things in it, and it does. My favorite, laughable things, that I have found so far is this small passage: :Most computers come with a minimum of 2 megabytes of RAM, but to use Microsoft Windows, your computer should have 4 megabytes of RAM or more."
And at the end of that, it links you to chapter 8, where it explains more about "the mysteries of RAM and computing." Another golden passage is: "In addition to being disk hogs, many programs are memory hogs, requiring 2 to 4 megabytes of memory before they even say hello."
In telling you all this, I invite you to have a good laugh and to share your stories/passages/etc that are also of this flavor. Humor is always good!

I also remember the days of playing RA2 on a 2mb graphics card. Shit, I still have (Within grabbing distance) a 4mb Matrox. That's how hardcore I am.

I do, however, fancy having a crack at phase change cooling a slot processor. Just because I think it'd be fsking hilarious.
I've got an old dual slot server board (It's, no joke, got to be at least two feet long, by a foot wide) that I want to toy with, again, for shits and giggles.

I'd go to Germany, but I'd be one of these sadacts tha actually wants to see the war museums/remains around the country. I'd love to see some of the old Nazi buildings that've had the Imperial Eagles removed/modified, and the flak towers in Humboldthain Park :B
